dear connor,

tomorrow will be a sad day for us.
it's your birthday.
there hasn't been a day go by that we
have stopped loving you and missing you.
your in my thoughts, always. i still laugh
at all the funny things you did. cry that all
we have left are memories. your room is still
the same. your little shoes. your toys. the little
writings on the wall you loved to sneak and do.
they are all so precious still to us. how i miss those
beautiful blue eyes and your big, happy smile.
we hope you are happy. we hope your new foster
parents and foster family love you as we did.
we hope they are good to you. and that you are
happy with them, as i know you were with us.
we have fought in your honor to change things, but
we have had no luck. you were like our own.
please know, little one, that
this was out of our hands. i hope you think of us,
as we do of you.

forever and always you will be our little boy.

here's wishing you a wonderful & happy 6th birthday.

we love you, deeply, totally and always,

Momma and Daddy

i cant wait to go back. i love atlanta.

the last day we were there, we ate an an awesome, awesome
mexican restaurant. they made their own tortillas there.

and the adventure began...

this week was great.

it started off, messed up. as in, out of order. due to my dyslexia or the simple fact that i am absent minded and scatter brained most of the time, i missed the first 2 days of class. but, after cramming for a brain numbing 5 hours...my chapters were studied. and my first two tests were made up. achieving an A on both, i happily add. my class is great. my brain is happy to be used again. the stay-at-home mommy thing, didn't quite cut it all around for me. to be out. amongst people. is rejuvenating. i love it.

growing pains

when i was younger,
like most...i felt, untouchable.
maybe like i was gonna live forever.
not that it couldn't happen to me....
but maybe, wouldn't happen.

how time changes us.

we learn to value life.
to take each day and make the most.
to fill each day with experiences,
that you will take with you, for always.

one thing that i stress over the most,
about getting older...
is "growing pains".

the new aches, pains, tingles, throbs....
to sum it up, i worry. freak. stress.
im a regular on webmd.com.
with that said, i don't recommend self-diagnosing yourself.
*smile

i still as of yet to find a gray hair;
which is beyond great news.
i stress enuf over the above mentioned "growing pains"
that a gray hair, indeed...would be a 911 freak out.
